Ashland Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Call Center Representative in Ashland, Kentucky

Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Ashland Credit Union to live out its Mission of "Building lifelong financial relationships in order to maximize the financial well-being of our members, one member at a time.” The Call Center Representative will serve as the first point of contact for our membership by responding to a wide array of inbound support questions via the telephone or through e-mail regarding member accounts and other products and services.

  • Assure calls are answered in a timely manner and information provided is prompt, detailed and accurate while remaining compliant with all government regulations.
  • Listen attentively to member needs and concerns and offer advice.
  • Research and solve member questions, problems, and complainants concerning their credit union account.
  • Ensure proper follow up on member inquiries when necessary.
  • Offer additional credit union products and services which will improve a member’s financial well-being, when appropriate.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Assist members with basic loan questions.
  • Perform basic account maintenance.
  • Assist members with remote access to their credit union accounts.
  • Process wire transfer requests.
  • Route calls to appropriate resources, when necessary.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Provide member education as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Prior financial institution experience a plus
  • Prior call center or customer service experience a plus
  • Strong relationship building, communication and listening skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
