The credit industry is. Every time you apply for a new credit card, a mortgage, perhaps even an insurance policy or a job, your application is judged in part on your credit score.

A credit score is a number that lenders use to objectively measure your creditworthiness. Each lender sets different ranges for what it considers "good" and "bad" credit scores. Consumers with lower credit scores often pay higher interest rates on loans because they're viewed as riskier customers.

Our member representatives are on hand to provide you with an expert analysis of your current credit standing. By enrolling in our free credit score enhancement service, we can provide you with:

  • A confidential analysis of your current credit report and score, including the items that are working in your favor and those that are not.
  • Suggestions on ways you can improve your score.
  • Opportunities to save money by taking advantage of your credit union membership. Some members have experienced savings of up to $200 by refinancing loans held at other financial institutions.

I will be enrolled in ACU's Credit Score Enhancement Service, which consists of a one-time telephone or in-person (if desired) consultation with an ACU representative about my credit standing.
