Yes, each account is federally insured to
$100,000 by the NCUA, an agency of the Federal Government.

How do I make a deposit?
Members can make deposits to their accounts by:
- Mailing the funds to
ACU. If you are writing the check, make it payable
to ACU and write "For deposit only" on the memo line. If it
is a third party check, endorse the check and write "For
deposit only" under the endorsement. Please
include a note with the check(s) letting us know which
account to apply the funds, your full name, and your account
number.
- Sign up for
Payroll
Deduction,
Direct
Deposit, or
ACH Origination.
- Visit the Credit Union and deposit the funds at one of
our teller lines.
How do I make
a withdrawal?
You have several options when making withdrawals from your
account. You can:
- Utilize one of our 24-hour electronic delivery channels
- ART (Audio Response
Teller) or Internet Teller.
- Open a FREE Checking Account. Log onto
Internet Teller or telephone
ART and
transfer the funds to your checking account. Then, simply
write a check.
- Use an ACU ATM
card (available only with an
ACU Free Checking Account) where you can access cash
through practically any ATM
machine worldwide.
- Call the Credit Union
and request the funds to be mailed directly to your home.
- Visit the Credit Union and withdrawal the funds at any
teller line.

How do I check my
account balances?
When checking your account balances for your Regular Share, Christmas Club,
and Checking accounts, you can use our convenient electronic services,
Internet Teller or ART, or you
may call a member representative at 800-245-8112.
Am I limited to the number of
withdrawals or transfers from my savings account?
Withdrawals and transfers initiated through an ATM machine or at the Credit
Union branch are unlimited. Due to federal regulations for Regular Share or Christmas Club accounts, no more
than six (6) preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfers may be made from
these accounts to another account of yours or to a third party in any calendar
month, and no more than three (3) withdrawals may be made by
check to a third party.

ownership, specify beneficiaries and comply with necessary

Is there a minimum monthly balance
for a Checking Account?
Once a checking account is open, maintaining
a minimum balance is not required.
How do I access
my account if I do not live in Ashland, KY?
There are several ways to access your
account.

secure way to make everyday purchases. Use it at more than

automatically deducted from your checking account. It also

our toll free Audio Response Teller or contact a member

What is Overdraft
protection?
Overdraft Protection services help ensure that you do not have a check
returned.
It uses your Regular Share deposits to cover for insufficient funds, thus reducing
the fee assessed and preventing a check from being returned due to a
miscalculation.
How do I sign up for
Bill Pay?
Setting up bills for payment is quick, easy and secure when you have an ACU
Checking Account. Simply log onto
Internet Teller at
http://www.ashlandcu.org/it and select the "Bill Pay"
icon. Follow the on-screen directions.
