How do I make a Visa payment?

You have a variety of options to choose from when making a payment on your Visa Account. 

  • You can make a payment at the Credit Union located at 1300 Central Avenue in Ashland, KY.  If it is after our regular business hours of operation, you can drop the payment in our drop box conveniently located in the drive thru. 
  • You can mail your payment directly to ACU. 
  • You can mail your payment to the Visa payment address listed on your statement along with your statement insert.
  • You can transfer the funds from another ACU account via Internet Teller to a S98 (gold) account or a S99 (classic) account.  Any funds deposited into a S98 or S99 account are applied as payments to your Visa account each weekday.

How do I make a balance transfer?

There are several options when making a balance transfer.

  • Complete a convenient online balance transfer form.
  • Submit a balance transfer request to the Credit Union.
  • Call the Credit Union at 1-800-245-8112, press option 6.
  • Fax your request to 1-606-329-5414.
  • Mail your request to the Credit Union.

What is the interest on a cash advance?

The interest rate stays the same for a cash advance on your Visa card.  However, there is no grace period for cash advances.  Interest begins the next day.

How do I change my address on my Visa account?

Your address does not update in the Visa system when you update your address at ACU.  Therefore, you must notify the Visa department with the changes.  You can do this in several ways.

  • Submit a change of address form.
  • Call ACU at 1-800-245-8112, press option 6.
  • Use the form attached to your Visa statement and mail it along with your payment.
  • Call Cardholder Services directly at 1-800-654-7728.

Can I add someone as an authorized user on my Visa card?

Yes, you can add your spouse or your child as an authorized user on your Visa card.  Print and complete the authorization form from ACU.  The child will then be placed as a user on your account and will receive a Visa card in their name.  All purchases remain the financial obligation of the account owner.

If my Visa card is lost or stolen, what should I do?

You must call the following numbers when your card is lost or stolen.  We will immediately disable the card for your protection and a new card will be issued.  A new card should arrive within 5 to 7 working days.

  • For a lost or stolen Visa card call:  1-800-556-5678
  • For a lost or stolen ATM/Check card you must call both of the following numbers:  1-888-849-6046 and 1-800-449-7728
