Why do
you not offer Home Equity Loans in my state?
Home Equity Loans are expensive to set up because the Home
Equity laws are different for each state. Therefore, the
Credit Union initiates the research and development of Home
Equity Loans based on member demand. If you would like
the Credit Union to offer Home Equity Loans in your state,
email us with your request.
How long does it take
to process a loan?
With the exception of home loans, first time applicants will typically be notified within 24 - 48 hours after
ACU has received their completed application and current pay stub. For
members who have an existing ACU loan and application on file, notification
can be available in as little as a few hours, but can take up to 24 hours to
process. Of course, each application is different and will vary depending
on the situation.
Home Loans are always different and vary depending
on appraisal and legal document availability. Home Loans can take several
weeks to complete.
How do I check my
credit?
ACU cannot supply members with a copy of
their credit report. However, members can purchase a
copy of their credit report through
TrueCredit. If an applicant is rejected for a loan,
the Credit Union will mail a letter to the applicant with
instructions on how to receive
a free copy of the credit report.
